Hitiura Anihia, Ph.D., LMFT-Associate

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate

Hitiura is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist associate and an alumna of Texas Tech University. With seven years of university teaching experience, she has served as a visiting assistant professor and part-time graduate instructor at Texas Tech University, as well as a teaching assistant at Michigan State University. She has also worked as a therapist in mental health clinics within hospital settings.

She has received extensive training in therapy for individuals, families, and couples facing a range of issues, including anxiety, substance use disorders, life transitions, and marital conflict.

Fluent in both French and English, Hitiura has traveled widely across the United States and internationally to present research or gain further experience. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband of seven years.
