Meet Your Support Leader
Stefani Sheen, LPC
Stefani is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about supporting adoptive and foster families as they navigate the unique joys and challenges of parenting children with complex developmental and trauma histories. With specialized training in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), she brings a compassionate, trauma-informed perspective to helping caregivers better understand both their children and themselves.
As the leader of the Post-Adoption Parent Support Group, Stefani creates a welcoming, judgment-free space where parents can find encouragement, practical strategies, and meaningful connection with others on a similar journey. She believes that caring for children who have experienced early adversity begins with caring for the caregivers themselves. Through education, support, and an emphasis on self-care, she helps parents build resilience, strengthen relationships, and parent with greater confidence and hope.
Whether discussing the impact of FASD, processing the emotional realities of adoptive parenting, or exploring healthy ways to prevent caregiver burnout, Stefani is committed to equipping families with tools that foster healing, connection, and long-term success.
