Getting Started
-
Getting started is simple.
Contact us by phone or through our online form.
We’ll learn a little about what you’re looking for.
We’ll recommend a therapist who best fits your needs.
Schedule your first appointment and begin your journey toward healing.
If you’re unsure where to begin, we’re happy to answer your questions before scheduling.
-
Your first appointment is focused on getting to know you—not putting you on the spot. During your first session, your therapist will:
Learn about your history and current concerns
Talk through your goals
Answer any questions about the counseling process
Discuss a personalized plan moving forward
There is no pressure to share everything at once. Therapy moves at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
-
Every person’s situation is different.
Some clients come for a handful of sessions to address a specific concern, while others benefit from ongoing support over several months.
Together with your therapist, you’ll regularly evaluate your progress and determine what feels most helpful.

General Questions
-
Yes. Your privacy is extremely important to us.
Everything discussed in counseling is confidential except in rare situations required by law, such as concerns involving immediate safety or abuse. Your therapist will explain confidentiality during your first appointment.
-
You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from counseling.
Many people come to therapy to improve relationships, manage stress, process life transitions, heal from past experiences, or simply gain greater self-awareness.
If something feels overwhelming or you simply want support moving forward, counseling can help.
