MEET ASHLEIGH
Ashleigh Cooper
M.A., LPC-Associate
Upon graduating with a bachelors in Human Services in May of 2019, Ashleigh began working as an infant mental health specialist. Ashleigh really enjoyed this role, but found that talking with the families of the children was really the part of the job she was passionate about. She went on to obtain a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. Since graduation, she has primarily worked in the trauma and crisis field.
Ashleigh has worked with victims of violent crimes, including family members of homicide, assault, and sexual assault victims. She also has experience working with older teens and adults suffering from depression and anxiety. Ashleigh also enjoys working with couples, doing premarital counseling, and working with families.
Ashleigh has also worked as a school behavior interventionist. She loves helping parents and adolescents learn new techniques to communicate in the same language and work through issues together.
Ashleigh is married to her wonderful husband and they have 4 children.
