Nikki Tekell, LPC Associate

Nikki Tekell is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a background in education and school‑based mental health. She earned her master’s degrees in School Counseling from Lubbock Christian University. Prior to private practice, Nikki spent six years as a middle school math teacher and six years as a school counselor supporting students, families, and educators.

Nikki works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She is passionate about helping clients build emotional awareness, strengthen communication, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence. Her approach is warm, relational, and practical, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution‑focused practices, and her experience in education and child development.

She has been married for ten years and is a mom of three, which gives her a grounded understanding of the joys and challenges families face.
