Meet the Team

Monica Osterbauer, M.A., LMFT-Associate

Monica is a licensed marriage and family therapist associate and practicing under the supervision of a licensed marriage and family therapist. She is also a student in the Couple, Marriage and Family Therapy doctoral program at Texas Tech University. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. She is trained to work with a variety of presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, identity exploration, stress, and grief and loss. She approaches all clients with the perspective that strengthening relationships in the context of family, friends, and intimate partnerships is fundamental to living a fulfilled, healthy lifestyle.

She has work experience in primary care settings providing integrated behavioral healthcare to patients and families. She also works as a medical family therapist at the University Medical Center providing psychosocial support for children and families on the pediatric and pediatric intensive care units. 

 Monica enjoys supporting families undergoing major life transitions, coping with medical diagnoses, adjustment surrounding divorce, as well as strengthening sibling relationships.
